Camp recount update

Paragraph 1

At last the day was finally here! At camp we did lots of activities but
my favourite thing was hanging out with the girls in the girls lounge area.
It was fun. We would sing, dance, and talk and would do lots of other
things.  Mel, Ephessians Mother was there with us most of the time.
Mel was a funny person and a great one two. She made us laugh
many times. Most of the girls got in a circle and one of us would go in
it and dance. Galila went in it first she (TWERKED) I was like whoa
your only ten years old.

Paragraph 2

At camp I saw this girl at the table eating lunch. Something inside of
me said I know her. So I went up to her and said “What is your name?”.
She said “My name is Sarna”. Then she asked me “What is your name?”.
I told her my name is Kanan. She said “Cool name”.
I said “Thanks so is yours”.
She said thanks too”. So on the second day of camp we got to go on the
slide, it was fun. I met her again. I told her I know you from somewhere
and she was like same. I said “I just don’t know where”. We became
friends. After the water slide I had a shower and got changed. Me and
Sarna played in the park together. She met some of my other friends.

Paragraph 3

My funniest moment at camp was when I was dancing. A teacher from
Saint Therese came into our cabins to tell us to brush our teeth and change
into other clothing. My second funniest moment at camp was when I was
the only one talking and everyone started laughing at me. My third funniest
moment was when we were practising our talent show. I was the
scary skeleton. I did not call myself scary. I called myself the funniest
and weirdest skeleton playing the ukulele. Those were all my funniest
moments at camp. The best thing of all was when I got to spend time
with my friends at camp and making a new friend. It was the best
experience of my life and the first camp I have ever been on.

Thank you to Mrs Kopua for organising this fantastic camp and
also thank you to my mother for letting me go to camp. At camp
I created ever lasting memories, which I will take with me throughout
my life.
